The "Senior of the Year" award recently was presented to Captain Dan Bobzin by Stevens Point Squadron No. 48183 of the Civil Air Patrol(CAP). Bobzin of 3122 Channel Drive received the Commander's Commendation Award for his work over the past 10 years with the CAP Cadets. He provides leadership for the ground team search and rescue activities. Under Bobzin's leadership, CAP provides a volunteer flying force to assist in air search and rescue, and local and national emergencies. The program focuses in civil defense, aerospace education, moral leadership and fitness.   Reprinted from the Stevens Point Journal.
